We just had our 20 week ultrasound and found out we're having a BOY!  Here are a few pictures...

Easter

This was a great age for Kaitlyn to be for Easter.  We're still talking about the Easter bunny, peeps and Easter eggs!

Immediately following Kaitlyn's first haircut, we went to see the Easter bunny.  I thought for sure she was going to freak when he tried to set her on his lap - but she climbed right up.  Now, when ever anyone mentions a haircut, Kaitlyn talks about the Easter bunny!

Poppi came to visit during Easter weekend...Kaitlyn was his little "monkey" as she kept asking him to read the book "Monkey and Me" over and over.

The guys went kayaking while the girls played at the park.

Our preschool had an Easter egg hunt event.

That evening we dyed Easter eggs.

Easter morning:  Open Easter basket, inside egg hunt, breakfast out, back home for an outside egg hunt, then open Poppi and Zee Zee's  Easter basket....whew!

1st haircut

As you can see in past blog posts, Kaitlyn's hair of late has gotten quite shaggy.  We went to the mall today to get her first haircut.  She was not a happy camper through most of the cut, but started to calm down when we talked about the Easter Bunny (whom she saw on the way in).  We like it - it's a cute bob, but the lady sure did take a whole lot off the back.  No piggies for awhile :(.

Feeding the ducks with Dad

Mike has been great since I've become pregnant and sick.  He is always picking up the slack and lately doing some fun daddy/daughter outings.

and I thought I would throw this one in there too...wanting to be like daddy!

 

Zoo membership

We are getting our use out of our zoo membership!  It's nice to drop by for an hour or two and have lunch.  Kaitlyn tried her first real hamburger with all the fixings there.  She loved it!

 

Nano's cupcake

Ok - this may need some explaining...Nano came to visit a couple weeks ago.  Nano kept calling Kaitlyn her "cupcake."  All weekend Kaitlyn kept saying "Nano's cupcake" over and over!

Shock therapy

Well, still battling the morning sickness, although it has eased up some.  I never would have been able to get through it without my shock band.  It sends an electrical pulse up my middle finger, which blocks the nerve in the brain that causes nausea.  So thus the lack of blog posting...I'll be back to it very soon with a visit from Nano, a first hamburger post and Kaitlyn's first haircut!
